Challenge: A large commercial design firm has been a client of NBI for over 20 years. This firm does work in multiple fields including model homes and corporate facilities. They enjoy working with Jim as they are able to pull on his 40 + years of experience with most furniture lines in the commercial field to find the right product for each different design application their varied projects require.

A large commercial design firm has been a client of NBI for over 20 years. This firm does work in multiple fields including model homes and corporate facilities. They enjoy working with Jim as they are able to pull on his 40 + years of experience with most furniture lines in the commercial field to find the right product for each different design application their varied projects require. NBI is able to produce multiple options for each project, allowing the many designers at the firm to have myriad choices from which to choose. Hundreds of fabric and finish choices are offered by NBI, and this gives virtually unlimited selections to each designer. Once selections are made, NBI will then bring out sample chairs to the design firm and take the designers to various showrooms in the area including NBI’s, so that they can see the selections in person. Price-point is important, so NBI’s selections are made specifically with cost in mind, to ensure that the firm’s project is within budget. NBI is also able to ship and install the product ordered either to the job-site or to a project installer’s location.
Follow Through Is Standard With Every Project.
We propose several options in different price ranges, and bring out chair samples for them to use in their actual work environment. Worker safety and comfort is always uppermost in our planning and implementation, and the elimination of any worker comp claims is our watchword. Any chair we recommend must have a wide and sturdy enough base to avoid tipping; the main cause of claims.
With our local factories, we have control over the design and manufacture process. Nothing is left to chance, and nothing is made outside of our purview. Our clients like the fact that we can actually fly our crew out to install in areas outside of Southern California . Being in business for over 36 years has allowed us to establish relationships with dozens of installation partners, and we have the entire country covered!

We regularly bring sample furniture out to them so they can use our products in a normal work setting over a period of time to ensure that comfort and expectations are satisfied. We will also have meetings with the individual end-user to be sure that they understand the function and operation of the item
